is just plain wrong.

LOTS of people, inside and outside the media, have made the claim. It's a false claim, and no one has ever PROVIDED ANY EVIDENCE for the claim. It has been thoroughly debunked.

But it's wrong for Biden to claim that "no one" has ever said it. I hope his people will help him prepare for a better response next time.

Biden jokingly says he'd challenge Trump to a push-up contest if his age is questioned

<snip>

"Former Vice President Joe Biden joked in an interview that aired Tuesday that he would challenge President Donald Trump to a push-up contest if the President attacked his age or mental health.

"I would say, 'Come on Donald, come on man. How many push-ups do you want to do here, pal?' Jokingly," Biden said in an interview with MSNBC. "You know, come on, run with me man."

you don't respond to them in good faith because they aren't coming in good faith.

you beat them down, and show strength, as any normal person would do if their family was attacked.

Dems have always had the 'Dukakis' problem of giving overly flat/academic answers to charged questions. Voters don't want that, they want to see their leaders respond like normal people. Bill Clinton and Obama both knew how to do this, and didn't take shit. "You oughtta be ashamed of yourself for jumpin on my wife" remember how Bill beat down Jerry Brown about the Hillary Whitewater stuff.
