Warren, Bernie, Biden and Buttigieg are left.
Not an American, but I think a Warren/Buttigieg ticket is the way to go.

(53,868 posts)there today also. She's not giving up.
As far as a Warren and Buttigieg ticket, in a fair, unbiased country it might work, but we live in America. As appealing as they both are to progressives, myself included, a perceived socialist and a gay man on the same ticket will get killed.
Either paired with a more centrist Dem could work. It can't be two white males or two women either.

(2,177 posts)CBS News has learned that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is cutting all of her field organizers in New Hampshire and all three field offices in the Granite State, according to campaign aides. The number of staff cuts is in the "double digits," with more than half of her New Hampshire staff being laid off.
According to a campaign spokesperson, "a handful of staffers will run a scaled-down campaign out of the Manchester headquarters." The field offices in Portsmouth, Manchester and Keene will be closed.

(36,343 posts)There are three other candidates who qualified for the September debate, one of whom was Beto O' Rourke who just dropped out, that are struggling to qualify for the November debate by the Nov. 13th deadline. The other two are Julian Castro and Tulsi Gabbard.
For the December debate, Biden, Warren and Sanders have made the cut off and according to the source I have, Buttiweig and Harris are expected to soon. Candidates that most likely wont are Yang, Booker, Steyer, Klobucher, Castro and Gabbard.
"6th Debate - December 19 - Los Angeles, CA
Details have been announced for the final debate of 2019. It will take place on the campus of UCLA and be hosted by Politico and PBS.
The DNC has again tightened the qualifying criteria. Candidates must receive 4% support in four approved national or early voting state polls. Alternately, they can receive 6% in two approved early state polls. This is up from 3% and 5%, respectively. On the fundraising side, candidates must have contributions from 200,000 unique donors, up from 165,000. There's also a minimum of 800 donors from 20 states or more, up from 600.
At this point, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have qualified, with Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris likely to cross the threshold shortly. Candidates will have until December 12 to qualify."
