Pete Buttigieg on Morning Joe today...

This is the video from TODAY's Morning Joe interview... A riveting 30 minutes. Mayor Pete is a master of facts and his own values...

Met him when he ran for DNC Chair and was highly impressed. Firmly in Kamala's Camp now however, if Pete can be her VP, that's a winning ticket IOHO.

...a real balance of qualifications and experience. I wish the President/VP ticket would sort itself earlier in the primary process. Rumor is that Biden will select a VP running mate earlier (before the primaries)... Maybe that will encourage other like Harris to do the same. I like the field, but there are too many now which could percolate a less than best candidate at the end of a day. I'd love the idea of voting for a ticket in the primaries.

They are 2 of my faves, too, but more on style (character) than substance.so far,.i.e., I don't know their specific positions. Haven't dug into this yet. Still early for me.

I also like Booker and Warren. Don't hear Booker on the top of the ticket much.

Inslee good - my guv - but I feel like his campaign is to more to elevate CLIMATE than anything.

Mika on MJ this morning said her phone blew up after his interview, with people wanting to know more about him. These people were on both sides of the aisle, as well as network executives. Expect the interview pace to pick up. Now his national political career has truly begun!!

Morning Joe comes on at 4 a.m. at my house so I slept with MSNBC on, hoping I would wake up when he came on. That didn't happen so I appreciated this chance to watch it. Damn impressive.

I listen, but usually I fall right back asleep during their first 30 minute block with no commercials... There is something about Willy Geist's voice that lulls me back to sleep... In a good way.

… this guy is impressive. Very impressive in fact. Plus, I like how cool he was at the beginning of this interview as I felt Joe was very condescending and close to being rude to him.

Pete Buttigieg definitely has the demeanor and experience to be president. Dolt 45 had absolutely zero legislative experience and he became president. Mayor Pete would absolutely be a step in the right direction for the future of our country.
