He looked like he was ready to drop dead last debate.

(9,961 posts)... agreed. He needs to get rest, as well as campaign. He seems better than the last debate, for sure...

(49,398 posts)grow, but he did himself plenty good tonight.
Edit to add: Bernie just attacked Joe on the Iraq vote to defend his lack of an answer on how to pay for Medicare 4 All. He'll drop a bit in the polls for that non-answer.

(1,898 posts)Tonight, he did 3 hours without missing a beat. The hospital cath lab fixed him right up.
Word is, the AOC endorsement didn't happen until Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez had a chance to see him in action to confirm that his medical clean bill of health would hold up under the bright lights of a national event.

(42,862 posts)He looked "better" than before, but he's had many days of not-doing-much... resting and recovering.
Unfortunately for him... the office of POTUS isn't one that really provides for such luxuries. As we've all seen, it AGES men who went in to the office looking fit, youthful, energetic... and they come out looking 25 years older. I mean, do the math.
With his "fainting spell" (or whatever it was when he had that Afib or "slip and fall" episode in the hotel room) along with his HEART ATTACK and having MULTIPLE STENTS inserted into his CLOGGED ARTERIES. (Do we know anything about his blood pressure? I haven't heard.)
In any case while he may have "looked better", it's certainly not better-enough to win my confidence. I'm looking for a candidate who not only has the demeanor and temperament for the job... but they also must be able to withstand the rigors, the stress, the travel, the long hours, the sleepless nights.
All I'm saying is that my standards are high, I guess. BS doesn't meet them.
