Dear Senators Sanders and Warren, wanna sell me on MfA?

Introduce legislation next week that eliminates Part B. It's a tiny step, low cost and will help millions of Americans.

If you can accomplish that, you'll get my attention.

Then move on to Part D... just for Tier 1 pharmaceuticals. Medicare recipients will still need supplemental insurance for higher tier drugs, dental, vision, hearing and in-home care, but they'll save some money. Tiny step, low cost.

If you can accomplish that as well, you'll get my undivided attention.

I'm literally asking for virtually nothing, but it will represent a huge leap toward your ability to implement MfA.

Deal?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

So prove it can be done just by eliminating Part B and a tiny part of D.

It's a reasonable ask, and can be done right now.

Do you things you say, add a lot more, remove all age restrictions, and you have M4A as currently being sold.

While I don’t think it should be sold using the word Medicare I also understand it provides a certain level of comfort.

Just like Canada, except, initially, only for those already on Medicare. With the need for supplemental plans. Just like Canada.

Pass that first, then we'll talk. Right?
