She's ahead by 4% in that poll, not 6%.

And as the Monmouth poll showed, Trump's smear against Biden is hurting Biden.

So I wouldn't celebrate Biden being hurt in these circumstances.

Especially since Warren will be Trump's next target.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Or rationalize. Blame the media coverage... whatever. The trendlines are quite evident. Biden has lost support slowly but steadily since early summer while Warren's support has risen consistently over the same period.

But nothing sticks. And they worry that the Pocahontas thing has already gotten tired, and she only looks stronger for surviving the attacks.

Let's not pretend that Trump is carefully holding his cards in some master strategy. He keeps secrets like a two-year-old. If he had something, he'd be sure to use it immediately. Reports are saying there are huge teams from the campaign, from the GOP, and from outside groups, and they haven't found squat. Their only hope is that she clings tenaciously to M4A and paint her as a socialist, but don't be surprised when she lets people buy into it as a transition.

She has been annointed The Chosen One by the Media for the last 3 months ….. She is now in the liftoff stage of her Presidential Campaign orbit …. If Bernie drops out of the race many of his supporters will gravitate to her …. Politico is claiming African-American voters are now rallying to her standard ..Of course Politico lies all the time - so who knows ? ….. So long as she is able to enjoy the free ride provided to her by an adoring media , she will be nearly impossible to catch...…

Her groundswell of support is rising not just nationally but in early caucus and primary states too.

Go Liz!

The once insurmountable lead has clearly narrowed.

We're best off with the strongest campaigner and campaign as the nominee, IMO. Warren is proving to have a message that resonates. She deserves congratulations for supporting core positions in the Democratic platform and building a constituency through an exceptionally strong campaign.

Onward. Several months still till the primaries. Biden is still the favorite, and a strong campaign from both front-runners benefits everyone.
