They easy and work excellently. I know I have 8. First one in 2000. They don’t take as much out of you like an heart attack.

I agree. I have had quintuple bypass surgery (2005) followed by 3 stents (also in 2005) when the 4 venous grafts failed and then 3 more stents early this year to deal with an old partial blockage (also from 2005) of a minor cardiac artery that finally closed. For the procedure this year, I was only in the hospital for 41 hours (including the ER). 1 mile walk the next day. Vigorous walks starting 3 days after the procedure. Back to full throttle bike riding 5 weeks after the procedure - well, I had to recover my conditioning for about a month before real hard rides. The point is that stents work, as do statins, exercise, and appropriate diet (primarily plant based).

Best wishes to Bernie for his recovery from coronary artery disease.
