1. I'll give him credit. Don't think Warren supports a ban, lots of gun manufacturers in Mass.

6. He was in the Senate when it expired. At the time there was a republican majority....

....in both houses and a republican president, it never made it to the floor of the Senate for reinstatement. Are you blaming Biden for it going away for lack of votes?

A bill was introduced in 2013 by Dianne Feinstein to reinstate the ban with no expiration date. It was co-sponsored by 24 Senators, among them Gillibrand, Warren, and Klobuchar. Some Senators conspicuously did not co-sponsor it.

Joe Biden was VP at the time, and supported it.

... makes a big deal about his ability to pass the AWB.

But it looks like he also struck out twice in 2004 and 2013.

8. He wasn't the Minority Leader in 2004 nor was he even in the Senate in 2013....

....when the republicans had the majority.

He didn't "strike out" either time. Which of our candidates now in 2019 could have done better?

He had no Joe Mojo.

Are you saying he can only get things passed if we have both houses and the whitehouse?

13. Clearly, only Joe Biden was capable, based on his campaign ads.

He says he did it in 1994 and can do it again.

He says he can work with Republicans to get legislation passed.

I accept that Joe is the only one capable “beating the NRA” and getting a AWB passed, but really he is 1-2.

If he boldly takes credit for succeeding in 1994 why doesn’t he take the blame for failing in 2004 and 2013 on the same legislation?

If he needs both houses and the WH to get it done then I’m not sure we can really say Joe has this claimed mojo.

5. Joe has done it, he doesn't just talk about it. And there are few issues....

already walked the walk when it comes to gun legislation. And this? Is a damn fine ad--strong and to the point. Gun legislation is this generation's 'duck and cover' school nightmare. Weapons of war do not belong on our streets. The time is now and Biden is the man to get it done, period.
