Proud of Andrew (Back on Track)

Kamala Harris @KamalaHarris
After the debate, I got to catch up with Andrew, who graduated from my Back On Track program years ago in San Francisco. Instead of getting stuck in the prison system, he was able to get back on his feet.

I'm so proud of him.

Met Andrew before the debate. After telling me the life changing impact of the program, he showed me a picture of him and his kids at the new arena in SF...an arena that he worked on as a proud union apprentice electrician.

Kamala Harris didn’t just work on development of the Back on Track program. She was involved in almost every detail and got the Art Institute of CA to create scholarships for student that qualify. She also got 24-Hour Fitness to provide free gym membership for a year.

@KamalaHarris has a history of focusing on reentry:

As SF DA, she created Back on Track for 1st time, non-violent drug offenders to receive job training & life-skills workshops instead of jail-time

As CA AG she created the CA DOJ’s Division of Recidivism Reduction and Reentry

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

...how some are still distorting her record.

You need a whole lot of hubris to obscure a record of accomplishment that this black woman has achieved, against the odds for her gender and race, historically in the roles she's served in.

thad what some post here. I think a lot the attacks on Harris are being pushed by trolls, and we have a lot of the here. They are really good at getting others worked up so they can cause divisions.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
