The 2020 candidates who have qualified for the next Democratic debate

The fourth round of Democratic debates will be held on Oct. 15 — and possibly Oct. 16 — near Columbus, Ohio, with at least 11 candidates onstage.

How it works: This debate has the same requirements as September's. Qualifying candidates must reach 2% in 4 DNC-approved polls and draw 130,000 unique donors — including 400 donors in 20 different states. Oct. 1 is the final day to make the cut.

Why it matters: The Democrats' massive 2020 field has put pressure on the DNC to focus its primary on those who can really challenge President Trump.

Which candidates will be on stage:

Sen. Amy Klobuchar
Sen. Cory Booker
Mayor Pete Buttigieg
Sen. Bernie Sanders
Former Vice President Joe Biden
Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Sen. Kamala Harris
Andrew Yang
Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke
Former HUD Secretary Julián Castro
Billionaire and activist Tom Steyer

Candidates that have at least 130,000 donors but have not met the polling threshold:

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
Marianne Williamson.........................

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

So, we'll go from a 1-night to a 2-night. I'd call that going backwards. Garrett78 Sep 2019 #2

I was hoping to see the field winnowed down more. But the more I think about it, I appreciate seeing the diversity of the candidates on stage. The diverse field reflects positively on the Democratic Party. It looks like America.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Steyer needs to go away. So does Yang.

primary today, I would vote for:
