I've been checking Predictit during this debate

And seeing little to no change in the betting on the candidates. That surprises me. It would seem to indicate that the bettors don't think this debate is affecting the nomination race.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I doubt these debates with so many candidates on stage move the needle much. In fact, they probably don't get alot of viewers. The goal is don't screw up or be an asshole like Castro

It could be that the main effect is to cut out candidates on the bottom, while those at the top perform reasonably equally well.

debate will change anything.

Biden more than held his own, IMO, and Castro's foolish attack on him is likely to help him. The only people I've seen applauding that attack, when I check Twitter, are far-left Dems who hate Biden, and Republicans.

And Castro's attack is going to look worse as word gets out that the transcript and video show Biden was right about what he'd said, and Castro had it wrong.
