Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumAnyone ever hear of Claster Consulting? Their poll: Biden 22%, Sanders 19%, Warren 14%,
Harris 5%, Buttigieg & Booker 3%, O'Rourke & Yang & Klobuchar 2%, all others 1% or less
Found their new poll at FiveThirtyEight just now:
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/
https://greenbankus.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Coalition-for-Green-Capital-Aug-2019.pdf
They polled 1,303 people (both Democrats and Republicans) nationally about a week ago, and that group included 752 Democrats (possibly including Democratic leaners). FiveThirtyEight is classifying this as a Likely Voter poll, since the primary preference question was asked of people who said they were "definite" or "probable" participants in Democratic primaries and caucuses.
FiveThirtyEight doesn't rate this poll, which I'd never heard of before.
Biden is doing worse than in most polls, and Sanders is closer to him than usual.
But this is an online poll that also polled about what the government should do about moving the economy to renewable energy. And since one of the questions was specifically about a Sanders plan, that might have skewed the poll toward Sanders supporters, who might have been more likely to respond than supporters of other candidates.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(15,615 posts)The MOE for the subset of Democratic likely voters is likely much larger.
You also didn't mention that the "Don't Know" responses were 21%, statistically tied with Joe.
Claster appears to be polling focusing on environmental/energy issues.
