I'm considering switching from Kamela Harris to Elizabeth Warren.

I'm considering switching from Kamala Harris to Elizabeth Warren, largely due to this:

‘I Believe in Capitalism’: Kamala Harris Courts Big Donors in the Hamptons. And...

Kamala Harris raises over $1 million at Hamptons and Martha's Vineyard fundraisers

One of the Hamptons events was hosted by public relations executive Michael Kempner. That gathering raised double than the campaign's original goal and had more than 150 people attend, according to those briefed on the matter. Tickets ranged from $1,000 to $2,800. While at the events, Harris picked up a few new wealthy supporters and they are expected to host other money-making events for her in New York next month.

On the other hand,

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, leading lights of the Democrats’ progressive wing, weren’t around. They’ve pledged not to take big-dollar donations, at least during the primary season.

But maybe I'm just reluctant to accept something that's an inescapable, political, reality.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

yet at the same time, Sanders and Warren are making it work without doing this during the primary.

I'm trying to make my decision based on policy, and so far I've heard more policy that I like from Warren, and I don't like Harris's health care plan. But, I also see Harris as being a really strong candidate on the issues they are trying best to tarnish her image on, namely law and order. I like her passion and intellect, not that Warren is lacking in either!

Touch choice, nice that we have such a tough choice though, right?

Last week.

Love Kamala. But feel like it's Warren's moment... based yes, on policy, as well as presentation.

I may not decide whom I will support until right before the convention opens. In the meantime I'm making generic contributions to the DNC rather than to any particular candidate.

Warren definitely does that in the area of economic equality (an issue I think will be front and center) with her past legislation and role in creating the CFPB. Harris' past actions and comments have me unsure of exactly where she stands on several issues, and what she would do if elected.

As Warren has said, we need real structural change and I believe she is the one who has specific, doable proposals to meet the challenges we face. Too many pols have been worried about a seat at the table for the ones who have been feasting there for far too long.

There's no way AG isn't a step down from Senator.
If she doesn't make it this time, she can stay a Senator and try again 4-8 years from now.

There are dozens of prime career prosecutors who could become AG and do a great job at it.

I think Warren can go the distance, and has the necessary know-how in the financial areas that challenge us the most right now.

Even healthcare boils down to a fiscal issue.

Millionaire's Row.

The reality is that it takes money to run a campaign, and we have to gear up to get it until that changes. It's not just the million or so bucks she collected, but firming up support for the future.

We do want to win, don't we?
