Presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is using his new book to send a message to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Colorado Democrat has told voters he will send one copy of his new book, titled "Dividing America: How Russia Hacked Social Media and Democracy," to McConnell, a Republican, for every donation his campaign receives. The effort began Wednesday, and by midday over 1,300 copies were promised to be sent to McConnell on Bennet's website. Calling Russian interference "graphic and unsettling," Bennet details how the country used social media to influence public opinion. The book is available in digital or print version, and the digital version is free on his website. "Russia's mission ... was and is to divide Americans," Bennet writes in the book. "They seek to fracture our country along every possible line."
