***A- Rated IBD TIPP POLL*** Joe Pop 54% Orange Man 41%

Joe Biden has a big lead over President Donald Trump, the August IBD/TIPP Poll showed. The other top three Democratic presidential contenders enjoyed smaller 2020 election leads over the GOP incumbent. Meanwhile, Trump's job approval fell to a six-month-low 40% in August.

I hear Warren's organization is doing an incredible job there. Does Joe have a strong presence?

Iowa CD#2 here (SE IA, including Iowa City).

Was contacted via land line by a Biden campaign worker/field organizer (recently deployed to Iowa) last week before the debate. Was also contacted by a Warren field organizer last week, after the debate.

Heard from Sanders campaign about a month ago; nothing since.

Lots of buzz and curiosity about Harris; it seems that likely caucus-goers are thirsting to hear and know more, and strongly considering her.

Pundits suggest there are "3 or 4 tickets out of Iowa" caucuses. Be that as it may...

On another note, tomorrow I'm checking with a printer on the bulk cost of a yard sign: Trump: YOU'RE FIRED! . Color? I'm considering black and white (as in SO obvious), but does that inherently evoke a racial connotation? Concerned, because Orange Julius WANTS to make this election a race war. Screw it...it already is on one level.

I hope you don't mind if I check in with you now and then to see what is happening.

I love the yard sign idea. I approve the colors because everyone will be too busy highfiving you.

Because of the recent racist, white nationalist shooting, voters may begin to seriously consider replacing trump.

I also believe that one of the reasons the Dems did so well in the 2018 midterms was because of the racist white national shootings that occurred just before voters had to cast their votes. I believe those shootings suppressed the gop vote while energizing the Democratic turnout.
