The Service Employees International Union has Beto O'Rourke Doing the work of Their Members

the SEIU had Beto do the work that some of their members do. As you can see it was very tiring and they do A LOT more than people realize they do in their workplace. And this was just one day. Those who actually do the jobs have to do this day after day and even then they don't necessarily get paid that much .

our local did. I am convinced that if we could bring back organized labor it would do a lot toward fixing the income inequality.

But I must say that courting us one day out of the year is more like showmanship.

but this barely touches upon the duties of a home care worker. Taking care of my father for the few months that I was with him before he passed away was exhausting. I had to help him in the bathroom including lifting him off the toilet and also stand while he was in the shower. Preparing meals, giving him his pills and cleaning up after him were easier tasks.
