20+ candidates 2 years out from the election gives ample time to

Slice and dice each other and the MSM a chance to make it a sporting event with devastating consequences.
It also helps to put a confusing damper on the 2018 momentum and enthusiasm .

It's like watching a bad movie.

negative about the election as you. My guess is after Super Tuesday next March we will pretty much know who the nominee will be.

So it is not 20 candidates for 2 years
