Apparently, "Killer Mike" wasn't available...

The Hill

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is praising Cardi B after the rapper endorsed his 2020 White House bid this week.

"She is very sharp and understands a lot about politics and a lot about history," the Democratic presidential candidate said Wednesday during an interview with Ali Velshi on MSNBC's "Velshi & Ruhle."

Sanders, 77, revealed that he recently chatted with the 26-year-old Grammy Award winner.

"I'm very appreciative to have her support," Sanders added.

If that doesn't get him the African American vote, nothing will......so I'm guessing, nothing will.

Normally, they all just kinda follow along with what the rappers tell them, do they? But Bernie sucks so much, they won't do what they normally would?

I don't like the junior senator from VT, but I hae no problem with an A list hiphop artist endorsing him. Is it any worse than Sean Hayes or another C-list white celeb endorsing the mayor of a tiny hamlet that's not even among the three largest towns in rural Indiana, to say nothing of not among the three hundred largest metropolitan areas in the US, especially when one considers his inability to diversify his police department?
