Elizabeth Warren: I Understand Why DNC Would Pull Debates from 'Propaganda Machine' Fox News

by Josh Feldman | Mar 8th, 2019, 7:36 pm

Senator and 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren told MSNBC’s Ari Melber the DNC barring Fox News from primary debates is up to the party, but she understands why they would not want to give one to a “propaganda machine.”

-snip-

Melber asked Warren tonight if she agrees with the DNC’s decision. Warren said it’s “ultimately a decision for the party to make,” but agreed with the criticism of Fox:

“I do understand that when more and more keeps coming out about how Fox News was just operating as an arm of the Trump campaign and then the Trump administration, boy, that doesn’t much look like we really have a free and independent press. It just looks like a propaganda machine.”

So she understands why, she continued, Democrats would say they don’t want to “be a part of that.”

Warren did add that she wants to get out and talk to everyone and “be in everyone’s living room.”

Stupid questions about abortion, raising taxes, socialism, belief in God, prayer in public school. But questions about gerrymandering, corporate unlimited campaign donations, raising the minimum wage, equal rights amendment, etc would not get asked.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
