So these debates are really important, right?

Remember how Hillary kicked Trump's ass all over the stage in all the debates in 2016? Does anyone other than political junkies like us on DU watch them?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Debates can be make or break for primary candidates. Look how the republican primary process unfolded in 2016 as the media ate up donald the rapist's schoolyard bully routine and the rest of the pack had no effective counter.

Big donors, in particular, are well-known to abandon or switch candidates based on primary debate performance.

Debates in the general election are also important, though arguably less so because opinions are often gelled by then and many people vote party anyway.

If I were to vote in a presidential

If I were to vote in a presidential
