Who did you like before the debate who didn't live up to your expectations?

I think he was too general in some of his answers, not really answering the question.

7. The point is that he didn't bring them up in the debate.

10. He brought up many. Too bad other candidates were more concerned with taking cheap

shots at him and interrupting him. They are off my consideration list for a backup.

Hey, rough and tumble is part of the process. Better to figure out how to deal with it now, rather than to deal with it for the first time against the Orange Menace.

2. Beto

I voted for him for Senate but won't for President. His performance was really disappointing. I'm still for Warren but Castro really impressed me.

are off my backup consideration list right now. Their immigration proposal is a gift to Trump and would be a general election disaster.

6. Beto for sure. Just boring. Amy K. too. Both of them came off as empty suits to my non political but

still a Democrat wife who doesn't follow it all day to day like us.
She wasn't much of a Warren fan before but was impressed by her last night and she liked Booker too.

8. Ryan and Beto.

I thought Ryan was going to be much better. I thought he was going to get noticed for good reasons. I'm not a big fan of his but I thought he was going to have a good night. He didn't.

Beto. He simply faltered. Not ready. I think we all now see what some mean when they say "win a couple more races first."

9. O'Rourke - had none of the dynamism he's shown on the campaign trail

But I wouldn't count him out yet. He seems to be a quick study, so I imagine he'll review the tapes and come out stronger next time.
