After Biden gets attacked from all sides tonight...

Last night showed America that Biden isn't the only one that appeals to moderates. Biden WILL get the Beto treatment tonight. The question is...who will withstand the attacks. Beto had a very good second half and ended strong. He was attacked on not wanting to eliminate private insurance and not supporting completely open borders. That is going to help him more than it hurts him. He supports Medicare for America and his Immigration Plan would fix more than just the family separation.

He made no attempt to answer the question he was asked, and the Spanish was excessive.

He got better later, but IMO, never overcame the bad start, if that was going to be someone's first impression of him... and for many viewers, it likely was their first real exposure to him.

I don't see him getting any bump out of last night's performance. Not a good night for him.

This may have been the first time many voters around the country have seen him and he seemed very nervous, not giving straight answers.

He doesn't seem as sharp as he used be. If we get the old Biden, he will do okay. If we get the rambly out-of-touch Biden, he will sink himself.

If Biden stumbles, it leaves a lane open for a different moderate.

"and not supporting completely open borders."

Not one of our candidates supports completely open borders. Was one of the moderators attacking him about it?

And how can you conflate going after Beto with going after Biden? Beto wasn't the big dog on stage last night. Far from it.

"Open borders" is a Limbaugh talking point. Just like labeling us as "socialists" is.
