(13,427 posts)However, I would prefer Booker on the ticket as VP instead of a white male if the top of the ticket is occupied by a white male. There is no way in hell our ticket should be comprised of two white men.

(16,786 posts)and make this an election historic in ways Trump will not be able to grasp.
Women make up 53% of the total Electorate. Women are most affected by laws restricting them in so many ways. The message has to be if the running mate is a woman, that women must continue to fight for
..Equal Pay, Reproductive Choices, a voice on the Job, Paid Maternity Leave, Voting Rights, secured SS and Medicare(women live longer than men), Job Pension protections, Child care, and so much more.
Women who continue to VOTE for Republicans continue to vote AGAINST their better Social and Economic interests. It is that simple.

(42,770 posts)her foreign affairs experience tho. But if it is Biden who wins, the VP has to be a complete package because if his age. Just looking for optimum. Although Warren is 100% ok with me personally...think she might be "too much" for the entire population? I sure do wish she would mix in a couple 5 minute periods when she acts with calm demeanor.
Trust me, I am purely looking at this with a "who is the most perfect team". Specific policies not a factor

(43,461 posts)here are the names of the 2 Biden advisors who were floating the ideas of both (1) naming a VP early (2) running as a 1 term candidate.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/21/us/politics/joe-biden-2020-election.html
But none would carry the impact of naming a running mate early or vowing to serve just one term.
Two of Mr. Bidens closest advisers, Steve Ricchetti and Mike Donilon, have floated both possibilities in recent weeks. And they have been egged on by some Democratic lawmakers, who have urged the Biden associates to strongly consider the one-term pledge to immediately defuse the question about his age.
Abrams was the main name that came up
and if you read her response closely
she said it was not THE CORE issue, which doesn't mean it was not talked about at all
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/stacey-abrams-says-shes-just-as-capable-to-become-president-as-anyone-running-in-2020-race/
"We talked about a lot of things but that was not the core issue," Abrams said when asked about filling a potential VP slot.
there is a video at the link
that quote section comes from the 2:40 mark onward
I think (especially as she has, grrrrrr, turned down running for Senate against that fucker Perdue) she is deffo in the mix, and would really help make GA, NC, FL competitive as hell
then again, she said IF she decided to run for POTUS she could wait until Labour Day to jump in (I disagree there probably)

(42,770 posts)rumors that Trump will dump Pence and run with Nikki Haley. Also something WEIRD going on at Drudge. They had a poll going last night and Tulsi won by a mile. They are also saying her name was the most googled last night. Drudge polls were rigged during the repuke primary in 2016 so you never know. But, if honest, why would everyone be picking her out in the repuke class?

(7,277 posts)Tulsi was Steve Bannon's favorite Democrat, and was even vetted for the Con cabinet.
Beyond that, she distinguished herself on a foreign policy / anti-war question, a hot button issue for some. Finally, Tulsi is RT's favored Democrat, more so than Sanders. I'm just guessing.
