I did get the impression that Booker & Beto got more questions--especially from Chuck Todd. nt tblue37 Jun 2019 #2

Bill made some strong and memorable statements for someone who only got 5.6 minutes. He also interrupted quite a bit and turned off some DUers with his aggressive approach.

Allowing Castro and DeBlasio to interrupt and shout over him at will and then not allow him to respond...it was the least they could do in the second half. You would think Beto was the front runner. He did have three of the best responses of the entire night, though. His closing was strong, his foreign policy comments were great and the part about impeachment and holding Trump accountable will play extremely well with viewers who are undecided and not already entrenched. And there is Castro again throwing shade at Beto...so thankful he will NEVER be the nominee.

And then on Friday night I'm challenging every DUer to a simultaneous online debate. Be there or be square!

But at least by next week, MSNBC will be off the "horse race" narrative for awhile since some other network has the next "debate".

TBH, I think the DNC should've asked MSNBC to give each candidate 10-12 uninterrupted minutes to let each one outline their vision/programs for America in response to a set of 3-4 specific topics.
