Putting the clamps on the debate interrupters

Would you be in favor of a rule whereby a person who interrupts more than once is disqualified, forced to leave the stage.

If they interrupt someone else once they get a stern warning that no interruptions will be tolerated. Then the hook comes out if it happens again.

Or are you tolerant of the interruption tactic? Seems to benefit the men more than the women.

And when they start shouting over one another? Turn off BOTH their mikes.

Damn that's annoying and it makes us look like brawlers.

And it gives the republicans ammo!

Either that or penalize them a question--and tell them so--every time it happens.

The women definitely lost out because interruptions were allowed, although Warren still got lots of time because she was called on a lot, especially during the economics section. Inslee lost out (he got the least time) because he would raise a hand and wait to be called on instead of interrupting. Beto lost out because Castro wouldn't let him finish his answer.
