1) Beto...despite being the only one really attacked he had the best closing and his statement on impeachment and holding Trump accountable were the ones I think that will resonate the most.

2) Warren

I don't like rude, obnoxious people...especially with Trump in the office. I'm over the negativity and attack behavior.

And he's just not a rude, obnoxious ass. DeBlasio wasn't on my radar anyway and now he's even below Gabbard. Castro is now as well. Booker had been in my top 3 to 4 but he threw some shade Beto's way too, and anyone who attacks Beto is not for me.

your jobs and income in the last 30 years - the 1% has. (Not vebatim). Warren. Castro impressed me too. He's scrappy. Booker good. Beto not so great at communicating in this environment.

Klobuchar did well; DeBlasio was surprisingly strong (though I've never been a fan); Gabbard was very strong (though DUers know, I'm not a fan of hers either). Inslee did well too--especially in the first hour.

I don't think Beto had a good night. Delany either. Ryan was mixed, I thought.

...who wins the award for most substantially beating expectations.

And the award for most substantially failing to meet expectations goes to O'Rourke.

Booker, Klobuchar, and Delany were better than I expected, but probably not enough to matter much.

Castro, Inslee, and Ryan were bottom tier for me.

I think Gabbard and De Blasio are the two low-pollers who are most likely to have gotten a boost tonight.

DeBlasio was the candidate I learned the most about. He’s getting flack for interrupting - but I admire that he was determined to be heard! He surprised me and made me want to hear more from him. I wish Warren had done more of that. Booker and Klobuchar both impressed me, too.
