It's a biblical exhortation that inhabitants of the earth be good stewards of it and all it contains, but the hypocritical good book toting dumpers pay that no mind.

Funny, seems that many who may not profess a biblically based faith are more 'godly' in adhering to being good stewards in an attempt to preserve our planet. This, a paradox.

The true godless of this land are those who are faithless toward their fellow man. In so doing, they destroy the Earth and human souls because they faithlessly set themselves apart from their god and her creation. In loving nature, faithful believers see themselves as a part of nature (and all humans in it) and not as apart from nature.

If they don't get how Jesus saw godliness, they are lost souls whose pride isn't biblically based. Religion is a map. Spirituality is a practice. Jesus gave the best words to help them avoid the pride of choosing what/who is worthy of their faith. Religion as biblically based belief has failed as a source of spirituality. That's why Jesus left his religion.

For the record, I'm an atheist. But I still try to live as Jesus did.

Exactly.

In my attempt in following Christ, I am unequivocally 'cautioned' to not judge others. Especially those who appear not to be of the 'household'.

IOW, watch my sorry self, and rid myself of vainglory and presumption.

The graphic you offered is lovely and touched my spirit.

(it was live because of the debate)

she said there are kids who want the candidates to do a debate on climate change. i think that would be fantastic. i wasn't familiar with inslee but his concern for the environment was impressive.

while i agree that trump is the biggest threat (and it *was* a great answer), i think climate change is terribly important. and is in urgent need of being addressed.
