A primary field with loads of experience? That's what the voters want.

With a Democratic field full of of experienced leaders, a new poll suggests any notion we're looking for fresh faces or inexperienced outsiders to shake things up is on the back-burner, for now.

The sprawling Democratic presidential field is incredibly diverse, but a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs finds Democrats give a collective shrug to gender, race and age as factors they’re considering when supporting a candidate.

Instead, Democratic registered voters are yearning for experience in elected office. A whopping 73% cited that as a quality that would make them more excited about supporting a presidential candidate.

As one voter remarked: "stability."

Are about ideas and what might work best going forward. I would hate to see it devolve into a bunch of petty spats about a tweet or a gaff or something from a zillion years ago.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided
