I assume you are referring to the "teflon" name he assigned to Joe. I think its just a bit of fun he is having with posting Joe's polls which seem to be rock solid stable around 35-40%. If you recall Bill Clinton was often called the "teflon candidate" back in the 90's and it wasnt meant in any negative way at all. He was so good that no negative attacks stuck to him. Biden is similar in that he is simply seen as the best candidate and nothing that has said or done has affected that.. so far.

The fact that 62% of the people polled are choosing someone other than Biden as their current favorite pick is not a good sign for someone who is being anointed as the winner a year in advance.

Call me superstitious, but polls this early on are almost always a huge jinx on the front runner. For that matter, all that any early polls are good for is that they advertise who the top candidates are, which in turn causes many people being polled to say, "Hey, I think I'll also pick the front runner for now since I don't know who most of the other candidates are." The more that people see the polls, the more that they'll use the polls for guidance, rather than using their heads and getting to know the other candidates who have less name recognition, thanks to the polls themselves. It's like one big loop. lol

This election is about winning 3 states, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan. The blue states are going to vote blue no matter who. I only see one person who can win those states and that’s Joe Biden. I don’t care what he said or did 30 years ago or 30 Minutes ago, the only thing this election is about is beating Trumpence.

By your logic the other candidates have a much much higher percent of voters wanting someone else and even more unlikely to win.

Biden is in a great position right now. I dont see how any of the other candidates can close this gap. Perhaps, if he makes some huge gaffe at the debates then someone else might have a fighting chance... but I doubt that will happen.

For better or for worse, Trump had de-sensitized the public to gaffes and outrageous statements that might've sinked politicians before. Whereas Trump is just a blowhard, Joe Biden speaks from his heart. He's not a poll tested, focus group candidate. He is not there to just give applause lines and go home. He's authentic and genuine to his core. He's an old throwback, back slapping politicians that everyone could drink a beer with. So people are more forgiving for his misstatements as they know his heart is good.
