His recent performance ( and I don't mean the son and boy thing) shows he won't meet those expectations.

Warren, on the other hand, is being underestimated and may exceed expectations. I'm looking forward to that.

Booker says he won't apologize to Biden for criticizing remarks about segregationist senators

Cory Booker fired back Wednesday night at 2020 rival Joe Biden after the former vice president said that it was the New Jersey senator, not he, who should apologize over the recent controversy in which Biden spoke fondly of his time working with segregationist senators.

...snip...

"Apologize for what?" Biden told CNN when asked about Booker's call outside a fundraiser Wednesday evening in Rockville, Maryland. "Cory should apologize. He knows better. There's not a racist bone in my body. I've been involved in civil rights my whole career."

Perhaps if you think it's a "nothingburger" you should convey that point to them.

Biden's doing what early front-runners have always done. I'll vote for him if he actually wins the nomination (and I actually like him personally if not 100% politically), but my sense is he's not going to. When was the last time an early front-runner won the nomination aside from HRC?
