12. Didn't watch it

I had 2 reasons for posting in this thread.

1) I think **BREAKING** connotes urgent news, which this is not.
2) One of my biggest pet peeves about American politics is so much emphasis on personalities and the horse race. Critical debate about important issues tends to get lost amid all that noise. I prefer to talk about ideas.

I also like to express my thoughts, as I've been doing here at DU since 2002.

Take it for what it's worth. I meant no personal offense.

14. Breaking to me simply means its something of interest that has just happened.

I dont think urgency is necessary to define it as breaking... imo.
