Hey they came up with a bunch of bullshit over the DNA nonsense to start her in a hole and all she's done is work her ass off and talk about real issues in real terms to seize this momentum. There is no doubt in my mind she would make the best president of the 20 whatever candidates running.

and both said Warren is their strong second choice and the only other candidate in the field that they would enthusiastically support.

Similarly I know some Clinton supporters here in CA who like Warren, though some think Biden is the safest choice but they actually like Warren more.

We don't want or need a lackluster candidate, because then we could lose turnout and enthusiasm among people we need to go walk precincts and get out the vote. We need someone they will feel excited about and want to work their tails off to get elected. It's not enough to just run against someone negative like Trump.

I know some DUers think Biden should just be handed the nomination, but recent history shows that the Democrat with a lead, even big leads, in the early polls doesn't win the nomination.

I would add that since Warren has had a much more detailed plan for what she would do as president than other candidates, especially Biden, perhaps DUers are making a sound choice - one that primary voters will agree with.

They WERE tied statistically but she had more individual DUers choosing her so that's why she moved ahead. It could be just one or two so not a big deal. Right now she is at 15 percent to Biden's 14 percent, so she is ahead statistically as well.
