Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumThe reaction to Biden's comment emphasises why We MUST win the Senate in 2020
Joe Biden - the so-called moderate candidate - has people saying he is deluded in thinking he can work with the Republicans. In that case Bernie and Warren are lame ducks before even being sworn in if the GOP hold the Senate.
You can have all the plans in the world but it is pointless if it does not have the votes, or more importantly if it is not even brought to a vote.
2020 is not just about removing Trump. We have to remove McConnell and his cronies!

He will be taking on appointed Republican Senator McSally. She lost her first Senate race to Democrat Kirsten Sinema. Former Astronaut Kelly is building his campaign team and ground game.
Mark Kelly can win this race if we Democrats in Arizona support his campaign and get out the vote. That's where all my efforts will be focused.

(5,275 posts)Republicans are not going to have an epiphany anytime soon. We have to walk and chew gum at the same time, if we dont win back the Senate we are in still in deep trouble.
We must stop this drift toward fascism.

(12,344 posts)enter national politics. That's why he went for DNC chair. Since he lost that, this is his next opportunity. He's already given himself a national profile. If he loses, he will go for a post in a Democratic administration.

(16,470 posts)Pickup opportunities in Arizona, Colorado and Maine. Maybe Iowa. On the other hand Doug Jones is almost certain to lose. Overall the map in the senate is much more favorable for Dems than in 2018.
