I'm changing my preference to Biden

After some thought, I've decided to go with Joe Biden for now. I still love Kamala Harris but I think her time will be 2024 or 2028. I would love to see a Biden/Harris ticket.

There are about ten Dems who I would love to vote for and I am glad we have such a fine group of people, but I have to think what is the best in terms of defeating the Republicans in all walks of politics, and what is best for America and it's allies (NOT Russia or North Korea. ) And I am leaving myself plenty of room to change when I feel one candidate moves up my ladder.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

the general. Of course Biden will likely end up facing Trump, and since victory is the MOST IMPORTANT THING, we'll vote Blue no matter who.

Would also love a Biden/Harris ticket.

It's been too long since a woman ran and got close to winning the Presidency.

It's been, what, TWO whole years? THREE MILLION more votes...

but it's the primaries that get you the Dem nominee, so they do matter. I would love to see a Biden/Harris ticket. Being the VP would position Harris to be President. For me, beating trump is all that matters. That is my focus.

IMO, with Joe and Kamala, we win 2020 and thereafter Kamala is set up for following Joe as POTUS.

Excepting Warren and Harris. The stakes are just too high to gamble at this point.

Biden would do fine, but I find Warren to be more exciting and better prepared to lead. For my president I want someone who is closer, in tone and understanding, to the 50% of the American people who are in debt, struggling and angry. Warren also gets women's issues implicitly and would not have been so tone deaf about forced labor laws. I think she would soak up the independents and anti-establishment (and increasingly anti-Trump) Republicans.

I agree that Biden is the most electable and he is certainly the most qualified to quickly restore our relationships with our European allies. He has friends in Congress and knows how to work both sides of the aisle.

But it's early. I'm watching Warren and Mayor Pete. Kamala will have a good run, but she's relatively young and needs more time to develop a detailed platform, and I like Amy. However, $$$ and visibility is a big problem.

Obama wasn't the "most electable" initially. Let's see what happens in the debates before jumping to any conclusions.

right now.

Most of us understand that things can and will change. I'm dealing in the right now.. as I'm seeing a lot of others are, too.

I want Biden for his experience and qualifications as VP for 8 years, and his invaluable Foreign Policy Experience, too!

From "undecided" to "more undecided". But since DU doesn't have "more undecided" as a choice, I guess I am stuck.

Actually, there is a lot to like about four candidates in particular. I want to keep an open mind about the four of them as long as possible. I am more undecided because I had sort of though Liz was losing traction after her first two weeks in the campaign, but she has shown me a fighter and I find that appealing, so she has risen mightily in my eyes.

However, IMO, the winning ticket is Biden-Harris. This also, again IMO, will lead to VP Harris becoming Prez Harris as well.

My MAJOR concern is getting the orange asshole out of the WH!
