Beto O'Rourke spoke with Hillary Clinton about his 2020 campaign

Last edited Sat Jun 1, 2019, 11:11 AM - Edit history (1)

It's nice to see at least one Democrat with some balls/ovaries who isn't afraid to talk to or about the awesome woman who SHOULD be president right now!

Beto O'Rourke spoke with Hillary Clinton about his 2020 campaign

Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) spoke with 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over the phone this week about his presidential bid, according to the Daily Beast.

“Beto is grateful for Secretary Clinton's leadership and service to our country,” said Chris Evans, a spokesperson for the campaign. “He is glad they had the opportunity to talk about how we're witnessing people in communities all across America step up like never before, unite together, and fight to overcome the greatest set of challenges this country has ever faced.”

Evans pointed The Hill to his comment in the Daily Beast article when reached for comment.

And grew to like him even more watching his many townhalls he livestreams. But when I watch Running With Beto on HBO...omg. I'm in my 50's and Beto is the most inspirational, genuine candidate in my lifetime.

Although I think we will start seeing his polling improve after the HBO Running with Beto documentary and him going on national TV more. Hi campaign manager just relocated to El Paso and they have made a bunch of recent hires and have loads of positions they are hiring for.

As a fierce 50+ grandmother I have never viewed having "balls" as a gender thing. Ironically, though, it's not the female candidates that have a crap attitude about Hillary.

And I don't think only men can be courageous. I've personally lived through more than most anyone I know and I'm more courageous and brave them most I know, male or female and I'm a 50+ year old grandmother. When I am referring to women acting cowardly I say grow some ovaries. When I'm referring to men I say grow some balls. The term doesn't offend me because I have always been of the opinion that courage and bravery are not determined by anatomy. I happened to use balls because I was talking about a male candidate. If I had of been talking about a female candidate I would have used ovaries.

I never got that impression, but I added ovaries for those who are offended. I'm a 50+ year old grandmother who has used that phrase all my life (I also use ovaries when referring to women). That's not going to change.
