not only are there way too many candidates already, there's still quite q few more to come. every time a new peron announces, THAT candidate is #1 for a while, then a new one announces and it starts over again. Aside from that, you really don't want to be TOO popular right now. It's much better to peak later after many have dropped out, mostly from lack of $$, and the remaining field can actually compete.

It IS fun to watch though.

...of a governor over a senator.

Inslee's got a great record of implementing the progressive policies that everyone loves:

From a friend on FB:

"Under Gov Inslee, Washington has one of the nation’s highest minimum wages, paid sick leave for all workers, a best-in-the-nation paid family leave program, some of the nation’s most rigorous clean air and water standards, and one of the highest union membership rates in the U.S. In addition, he stood up to the president’s Muslim ban, protected LGBTQI Americans from discrimination, raised the minimum and created one of the best clean-energy economies in America. He is a good solid candidate to back in 2020!”

he is a progressive and Rachel put that in the lead up. He has proven himself, he is intelligent, Washington is all about foreign trade so he knows that, he and Ferguson know how to sue trump and win so that show strategy. I could see him standing up to the dictators around the world and mending fences with our allies. Important: He is not phony.

I so want to hear how all candidates feel about climate change. Loved how he said the Pentagon knows it is real - they have been working on it for a long time. He will put the issue in the forefront, with a "can do" attitude.
