Not only is he popular amongst democrats he also got nearly 23 % of independents who are favorable to him. a lot more than the others.

great numbers for Biden as usual. I'm pleased to see Beto back in the third place cluster with Kamala, Warren, and Pete, with the poll even before his Maddow interview earlier this week and CNN town hall next week. Biden still has a commanding lead but it is early enough for any of the third-place cluster to potentially give him a run.
