So glad to see MSNBC cover Bernie's speech: They loved covering 45 last time....

It's too bad I'm actually surprised that the liberal channel would usually not air it.

There is still a right wing media bias, regardless of what the wingers say.

Bernie's talking healthcare reform, college, childcare, infrastructure, jobs, $15 minimum wage, unions, income inequality and frump crime family. Awesome!

Bernie's sounding GREAT!!!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

There are already plenty of people in real life that care. The media will provide reminders about Bernie's lack of transparency for as long as he delays the release.

It also allows Trump to make an argument that the Democrats are hypocritical if we are demanding his tax returns while not demanding Bernie's (or any other Democrat) who fails to provide their returns.

Why are you changing the topic of this thread to mention other candidates? This thread is about Bernie.

I'm wondering why he chose Brooklyn for this event.
Probably because it would be difficult to establish a sea of diverse faces among his constituents in Vermont. It's a fact that Vermont is a very homogeneous state that lacks ethnic diversity.

I don't think the strategically placed audience members will help him to win additional votes in states that have larger AA and POC populations. Bernie is already a known entity and opinions of him likely haven't improved over the past two years.

What's REALLY unhelpful is when someone accuses the Democratic party of being "feeble" or "corrupt".

It's also NOT HELPFUL when someone claims that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt" or that Democratic party is an "absolute failure". Clearly those smears and "snide comments" are untrue.

Can someone explain to me how it's "helpful" for anyone to publicly declare that thee Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent" and that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite". What good purpose does it serve to say things like that?

If voters are being told the lie that there's "no difference between Democrats and Republicans" then what reason do people have to come out and vote for Democrats?

Sanders, 73, the independent senator turned Democratic presidential candidate, has called Vermont home for almost all of his entire adult life. It started when he was around 13 years old, a fascination with the Green Mountain State born in glossy real estate guides.

"We picked up the brochures," Sanders says. "We read them and we saw farms were for sale."

And then after college, in the mid-1960s, Sanders, his then-wife and his brother pooled some inheritance money and bought a small piece of the dream.

"We had never been to Vermont in our lives; we just drove up," Sanders says. "We bought 85 acres for $2,500. How's that? But it was woodland."
