Dear Liberals and Independents

The rest of the world is relying on you..... honestly. The stress of having Trump as President impacts nearly as much for your cousins as it does for you. I am too old to flee the city if war breaks out!!!!
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

There will be no Dem candidate who's anywhere near the treasonous criminal that drumpf is and no one that would be even half as bad as he is for this country, it's people and indeed the world.

Sat Mar 2, 2019, 12:40 PM

Has to do more than run against trump. They must run against right wing fascism. They must run against this nasty monster that the GOP has become. Running against trump is not enough. He's only a figure head. The next democratic nominee MUST run against religious fanaticism, must run against toxic sexism, must run against racism, must run against environmental devastation, must run against homosexual discrimination, must run against authoritarianism. These are just a few of the things. Fear is a far more intoxicating emotion and easier to sell than hope. Hope is abstract, fear, while irrational is still able to be made tangible by the average mind. Hope only motivates the extraordinary into action as it is too abstract for the common mind. Democrats must figure out how to sell fear of what the right stands for without coming off as a parody of the right. This will be a tough tightrope to walk, as we are the people and party of hope. However, it is a path that must be trodden, as winning the white house is not enough. Winning the congress is not enough. These right wing fucks must completely be purged from government at all levels as much and as far and wide as we can. This is war, and the next democratic nominee must be in it to win.

There are a few candidates that meet some/most/all of those points that once the primaries are done, I will all out support the winner for.

The one that don’s the Democratic Party title only when it’s of political benefit, but bashes the Democratic party most of the rest of the time.. I’ll hold on commenting on due to my support of this board, and agreement to the TOS rules.

How will you react if the shoe goes on the other foot? I did my duty in 2016, many others I know did too. We will see this time around but if the party thinks it can just find the lowest common denominator and win that way we all may be in very big trouble.
