From the looks of all the outlets posting that 2015 snippet of Biden talking about Cheney this week

and the sheer number of them being far right wing or "new to Youtube," it appears that perhaps Putin and the GOP are nervous that Biden is in the lead, and this is a coordinated opening volley of viral media attacks on the frontrunner.

A search on YouTube of postings this week reveals some very interesting sources that just happened to "discover" this video:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=biden+cheney&sp=EgIQAQ%253D%253D

DailyWire, FoxNews...

And many people that I know on FB that spread Ukraine Bot smears of Hillary during the GE in 2016 are sharing these posts as well.

But for those interested in avoiding this, there are some tools available to help you from being manipulated by bots:

Bernie said about how Trump ran his campaign and got elected as being the same as Bernie saying Trump is a decent man and he likes him, as Biden said when he gave his opinion about Cheney, that's quite the stretch.

Bernie on what Trump did to get elected

"Trump took on the Republican establishment, he took on the Democratic establishment, took on the media establishment and he ended up winning the election to become president of the United States. And that is an extraordinary accomplishment. And it talks about perseverance, it talks about very strong political instincts, it talks about a way to connect with people,” Sanders said.

You got called out on it, that's all.

Bernie expressed admiration for some personal characteristics of Trump, not the least of which that he took on Democratic leadership.

If a DUer posted this statement of admiration for Trump on DU, without attributing it to Sanders, they would have been called a RW troll.

"Trump took on the Republican establishment, he took on the Democratic establishment, took on the media establishment and he ended up winning the election to become president of the United States. And that is an extraordinary accomplishment. And it talks about perseverance, it talks about very strong political instincts, it talks about a way to connect with people."

But do go on trashing a Democrat that has a clue about what diplomacy and interpersonal skills are, since that seems be to all the responses available. Progressiod had the good sense to know when that called out.

This surgically edited video dropping all over the place at once is no coincidence, and it's clearly in response to Biden pulling ahead. Status quo, establishment politicing personal smear campaign tactics, issues be damned.

Like when the GOP dropped the "You didn't build that" video of Obama, and the knee-jerk reaction I've seen looks very much like the one Tea Partiers gave then. Even some of the same outlets that dropped that one dropped this one.

Interesting, isn't it? Especially in light Karl Rove pushing for Bernie to be Democratic Nominee.

Biden was the VP. It is against the dignity of the office to speak ill of the predecessors. Obama said good things about Bush. Bush said good things about Clinton. Gore said good things about Quayle.

The decorum of the office requires protocol. The only one who has breached it is Trump.

An aide to Pence said the vice president doesn’t seek a signoff from Trump for his outside discussions, but given that the two speak daily, “I’m sure it wouldn’t come as a surprise to the president” that he talks with Biden and Cheney.

The aide said Pence “shares a warm relationship” with Biden, “and they’ve spoken many times, particularly on foreign affairs matters.”

May 2019

I asked you if you cared how you come off, and speculated that you didn't care. You told me that I'm correct, you don't care.

You then said that you don't care because everyone has made up their minds. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I have not made up mind. I suspect that I am more typical of Democrats than you are, but that is just a guess. You catch more fish with honey than you do with vinegar.

Just saying.

Winning elections takes discipline, which is something I don't associate with the radical left.

Personally, I would rather have someone in the oval office with interpersonal skills than without. Being polite and friendly, even to those who have been political foes isn't a 'deal breaker' for POTUS to most people I know.

There are some advantages to that - as Nancy Pelosi's daughter says, she can decapitate an enemy over lunch, smiling the whole time and not getting a speck of blood on her suit.

POTUS requires some emotional intelligence, and an ability to deal pleasantly with other human beings that you are in conflct with, even if there is a small group of voters that finds it suspicious.
