i do not do that. i am talking the way obama stepping in and how we saw his base grow, that made him competitive to clinton. i am not recalling.

right now, clinton is so far ahead. looking at realistic expectations from omalley

As for 08, Obama did certainly surge ahead. I have clear reasons as to why this happened.
For one, Obama is superior in his skillful oration. He has personality & humor & would be a difficult match in debating any point.
And he came to the voting nation as an unkown, pretty much baggage free.
There were certain other factors in his favor, also.

I don't understand that but Obama must have given them something Hillary could not or would not.
This is curious, even though we can only suppose at this point.

I recall Hillary being up by double digits in the polls in MA around that time. All of MA's super delegates, Kennedy, Kerry, and Patrick all endorsed Senator Obama. Hillary won our primary decisively but still did get the support of our super d's at the convention. Then there was the Florida and Michigan primary fiasco and the divvied up votes.

The party has issues and I believe has lost the trust of a lot of dems.

What issues do you think the party has?

I can tell you this, the party has far more support than the GOP. we don't have a tea party division.

Republican obstruction is the problem, not some fault of our candidates/politicians. Place the blame where it belongs, vote (D) in every election, and rebuild our majorities.

It's hyperbole.

To your second point, you might find a better discussion in GD. I saw your declaration that

I am not sure you give a care. If you do, then come aboard. but don't come in and slam the party. I don;t think you speak for the party.

I want to know what you are going to do to get Dems elected. I can't stand posts that take a shit on the party without offering solutions.

The party has a shitty agenda that is doing nothing for the middle class and voter interest and turnout speaks volumes,
