Bernie Sanders

Recent polling and Main Stream Media derision have brought Plan A to full stop -- no longer is the pitch, "Vote for me because I am going to win any way." This presumptuous attitude toward democracy was always bad strategy, and as we near the actual voting, she has no choice but to switch strategy.
Vote with your head, not your heart. Are you shitting me, Hillary?
Sanders can't get anything passed by the Tea Bag Congress. So you say that nothing can ever take back the Congress? That is your guiding principle when you take over leadership of the Democratic Party? We have to lose the Congress? You really have to be shitting me.
And, by the way, what do you expect to get that Tea Bag Congress to pass when you are President?
Here is my suggestion for a campaign slogan: Eat your spinach. Vote for Hillary.
Of course I think that Ronald Reagan was a really lousy President, but he was undeniably the most politically successful Republican politician in the history of their party, and second only to Roosevelt in all of American history. What worked so well for him was his optimism -- he believed that anything is possible and that it was always morning in America. This take on the Gipper is no snide liberal faint praise -- it is a central tenet of the Reagan Idolatry.
Hillary's husband was also successful -- and he always projected an upbeat and optimistic aura.
Hillary is seriously trying to win votes by contending that she knows that the world sucks while her opponent is a dreamer.
My money is on the dreamer.

(5,069 posts)How does one define success.....if the criteria is for passing legislation, perhaps that's true.....But for making improvements in the lives of our communities, maybe that's not so easy to calculate.....
