-snip-
Upon learning that Boutwell Auditorium was at capacity, the rest of the attendees congregated in the park to watch the rally on a large screen. With subfreezing temperatures, we are all disappointed to not make inside to see Senator Sanders. That is until he decided to deliver a personal address to those in the park. This is a portion of his address.

He is.
By landslides that are gonna make the mainstream scared.
I welcome that.

(2,931 posts)I believed in Obama for 2 years. He ended up being good, but not as good as I hoped. Lets do it Bernie. Take this fucking thing and start kicking lobbyists teeth out the back of their heads

(28,082 posts)According to my phone it is currently -3. This morning when I went to work it was -12 with wind chill warnings.
The local weatherman announced tonight we're starting a warm up - the high tomorrow will be 8 above. With any luck we're suppose to get to 27 on Saturday - virtually tropical.
Don't talk to me about freezing cold.

(11,366 posts)I'm in Tennessee and we had temps that you might find tolerable, but we would be cold.
People in ALABAMA, of all colors and ages, stood outside in temps they aren't used to being in, to see Bernie.
We love him.

Other candidates are confused about who serves who.

(13,877 posts)Someone fainted or something and he saw it, stopped his speech, walked to that end of the podium and talked to some people and stayed there...made a mention of paramedics coming, but he would not start his speech. He talked a bit to those behind him and back over to the medical incident.
After about 5 minutes, someone told him it was OK and the person had been able to walk outside. He then asked if anyone else was feeling faint...someone raised their hand and he asked them to follow. You could see the concern on his face. And it wasn't about getting back to his speech.
Just another impressive action by our Bernie.
