(34,115 posts)ever seeing a group of people this long waiting in line, in the cold to volunteer. Ever. For anything. I like the mix of age, still mostly young and that is encouraging. Wow just really really wow!
If he does not win it will not be because there wasn't anyone trying. I don't recall seeing this much excitement in a long time. We have had excitement over candidates and Obama really pulled in a lot of people but this has an energy that I have not felt for a long time.
This just really makes me feel great.

The organization that I work with most closely, People For Bernie, are doing amazing volunteer organizing.

(3,343 posts)I actually made a couple calls in 2008.... From Ireland.
I'd consider doing it again. It's just so expensive.

CV, is it true that we can't change our party affiliation? My daughters are independents but want to vote for Bernie in the primary. Are there still possibilities?

(12,253 posts)that is a line to the ticket office (entry) at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. They do music, poetry slams, theatre, and fundraisers and that may indeed be a line of volunteers for Bernie but that is not where his office is or where his office will be.
