John McCain: Bernie Sanders, Not Hillary Clinton, Has ‘Record of Advocacy’ for Vets

http://observer.com/2015/10/john-mccain-bernie-sanders-not-hillary-clinton-has-record-of-advocacy-for-vets/

Arizona Sen. John McCain—the 2008 Republican presidential nominee—told reporters today that Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the second place candidate in the Democratic primary, has a “record of advocacy for our veterans” while front-runner Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and senator from New York, does not.

On a conference call with reporters, Mr. McCain—chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee—and Florida Congressman Jeff Miller, chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, lambasted Ms. Clinton for her claim last week that the 2014 Department of Veterans Affairs scandal was not “widespread.” The two Republicans recalled numerous cost overruns and countless members of the armed forces who did not receive vital medical care, and the Arizona senator touted his joint bill with Mr. Sanders to increase transparency at the VA and to allow vets to obtain treatment at private facilities.

I had someone just yesterday telling me that Bernie is way too old. We need Hillary because she is young and brings a fresh new approach to things.

Both within the same age bracket and she with health issues that he has not had. I responded by pointing that out, but she didn't want to hear it. Locked into her bogus talking point.

I'm a Bernie supporter. Of course Magoo wants to put down Hillary as he's afraid she'll stomp the Republican nominee. Little does he know that Bernie will crush them too. For John to speak of supporting vets is the height of hypocrisy. This asshat has been shafting us for decades. Check out his rating from veterans groups, not just the VFW and American Legion. And he's the clear-thinking dipshit who unleashed the Palin nightmare on us all. Time to hang the oat bag around the old nag's neck, open the gate to the pasture and give him a sharp slap on the ass!!!

our family members. It brought home tens of thousands that were wounded. And their pain is shared by families and friends. Did you know that 22 vets commit suicide every fracking day. Who are responsible? All those that supported this horrible war. Hillary Clinton didn't waver and turned her back on her Party and Americans when she jumped across the isle and embraced this horrible war. Did she trust Bush and the Republicons? Did she care? 22 vets commit suicide EVERY FRACKING DAY. And did she ever apologize? Nope, she brushed it off as a mistake. In lives alone, this war was devastating. With a "mistake" like that, how can she be considered qualified to be president. And yes, other Democrats betrayed and they too should be held accountable for betraying their Party and country.

The VA still has a long way to go but it's getting there no thanks to "We saw, we came, he died. Hhahahahahaha!" Clinton. We're nothing but fodder to her.
