They further noted that the websites for GOP front runner Donald Trump and Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton appear to work just fine.
A representative for Veterans for Bernie told Bipartisan Report that the lack of access to Sanders website has been tried and confirmed by an Air Force captain and army Staff Sgt. at Fort Campbell, as well as by an overseas service member. They confirmed that they will be actively looking into the issue.

There is a comment on FB from someone who says they are able to access the site at an air force base.

(13,877 posts)Interesting what instantaneous information can do to a well-crafted "Whoopsie". Veterans for Bernie shut down? That ought to go over well...not. And website snapshots to prove it? Just another Hmmmm. Not. Conflict of Interest...that's what I've been staying and am sticking with it till proven otherwise. This article does not rise to that standard.

(13,877 posts)apologized for scandal merits 3-digit views and recs, multiple threads, fainting hankies abound.
Anybody here think HRC/HRH will apologize? I mean, to the Veterans and all. And, shock of all shocks, it's not H.A. Goodman.

(2,702 posts)I would expect them to be directed to a webpage stating that access to the content has been blocked and activity is being monitored and logged, if the website was purposefully blocked. The article even states people received errors stating they were attempting to access a blocked website when the military really was blocking access to the Guardian after Edward Snowden made news. The "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error is the standard message the browser returns when a page is not accessible.
It's certainly possible for the website to be blocked across the board and generate this error. Personally, I'd want to do some pings, traceroutes, and nslookups before pointing fingers though.
