2. Yes she did avoid mentioning the invasion of Iraq...

...I noticed that too. It is understandable that she would avoid "taking responsibility for the mess", since she is running for office, so why would she make such a statement? OTOH, I do expect her to be frank and forthcoming about the root causes of the widespread disorder and mayhem going on in the Middle East right now -- and anyone who has been paying attention knows that our invasion of Iraq in 2003 precipitated the current mess in the area, not limited to Iraq. And sadly, she has supported regime change elsewhere such as Libya, even after seeing what a disaster it was in Iraq (and historically it rarely ends well, cough Iran cough)...

She is wise to avoid that topic.
