Amid DNC dust-up, Sanders raises $1 million in a single day, campaign associate says

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/12/19/amid-dust-up-with-dnc-sanders-raises-1-million-in-a-single-day-campaign-source-says/

MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has seen an uptick in fundraising, bringing in more than $1 million on Friday alone, amid his campaign’s dust-up with the Democratic National Committee, according to a person directly familiar with the campaign’s finances.

Sanders on Friday was dealing with the fallout of a story that usually wouldn’t be considered good news: accusations that several staffers inappropriately accessed a DNC-controlled voter file and viewed proprietary information collected by the party’s front-runner, Hillary Clinton.

Woo hoo!!! The money is going where it should - directly to the Sander's campaign.

I believe that many people were so upset that they did two things: 1)called the DNC and 2)went to his site to donate as a sort of "we'll show you!!" to the DNC.

I love it!

people were pissed and put their money where there mouth is.

Bernie preveiled over DNC.they backed down.Bernie showed he won't take shit and will fight back.he himself wants an independent audit of the actions.

Plus the idea of DNC being arm of clinton campagin isn't just talk anymore of bernie supporters.there is real case for it.

saying "let's see what the investigation shows" and not making accusations and appearing hostile. Now he is not backing down on the lawsuit and it could be bad for the DNC and the Clinton campaign.
