I just got home from a trip to my local supermarket, where I saw my first Hillary Clinton bumper sticker ever. It was on a car driven by one woman, with another woman in the passenger seat. And the name it called Hillary was one I cannot repeat here without getting banned.

If her followers think criticism of Hillary's actions and policies on DU constitute "hatred", I'd like to hear what word they would use to describe a whole variety of bumper stickers with unflattering pictures and unfortunate but accurate quotes from her. Just google Hillary and bumper stickers - the majority I saw were absolutely brutal!

We've been saying it here on DU and other commentators have said the same thing. The GOP is jonesing to have the chance to campaign against her. Her name on the general election ballot will bring out record high numbers of Republicans who have been waiting for many years to have the chance to vote against her. Hillary on the ballot will bring not only massive voter turnout, but massive donations from Republicans, both of which will help all the GOP candidates down ticket. Between the massive turnout of Republican voters and the depressed number of Democrats and independents, it will be a rout.

Even if HRC would win the GE, we may end up with both houses so firmly in Republican hands that they can override her vetoes on the ugliest of proposals.

If it comes to be that she is the nominee, I will vote for the least crazy, least stupid, and least purchased. I think I see what you do. If HRC is the nominee then every progressive candidate around the country will be fighting without the support of the party. It's getting to the point that I'm too damned old and too damned tired to be pushed aside and ignored because I expect better of the party and its candidates.
You want my vote? Let my voice be heard and don't shut me out of the process.

There are practically no bumperstickers around Ann Arbor...yet! You would think we were apolitical...

My favorite was the Hillary Meal Deal...won't post the rest, but it's priceless. The other was Democratic Party...
we're not perfect, but they are nuts. Lots of good ones.
