Bernie Sanders Gaining Support Among Tea Party Hardliners

-snip-
A recent Quinnipiac research poll has revealed some very interesting news. According the results, hardline Tea Party Conservatives are warming up to Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders. The poll, which has a 4% margin of error concluded that approximately 21.3% of registered Tea Party Members have a favorable view of the self-proclaimed Socialist from the ‘People’s Republic of Vermont,’ whilst only 3% view the candidate in an unfavorable manner. The Sanders Campaign, which has proclaimed itself as a more ‘reasonable’ alternative to the ‘aristocratic bloodlines governing this nation,’ reacted joyously to the news.

Hardliners are more comfortable with a diametrically-opposed candiate like Cruz.

I think it's more like support from the faction that sees how off-the-wall looney tunes the Tea Party has become.

doesn't matter with Bernie. I don't care how much support he gets from them he is not going to alter his plans or policies. Unlike other politicians who would accommodate in trade for money or support he is on a plan for everyone now anyway.

It is good that his message is heard by others as something positive. This country needs a BIG dose of positive to allow us to be introspective enough to turn this ship around.

I don't see how anyone can honestly shit on this:

“I think our message is starting to sink in on both sides of the aisle,” explained Joseph Dzhugashvili, spokesperson for the Sanders Campaign in New Hampshire. “This news is driving us forward as we move closer to the primaries. We know that Bernie’s message of hope and equality rings true not only with liberals, but also those conservatives who want to see a brighter and stronger America. I think that Bernie’s campaign speaks to the millions of students with loans they can’t pay back, parents who can’t afford to work and put their children in quality daycare, and single mothers who have to choose between eating healthy food or buying medicine for their children. I’m sure that Tea Party members fall into all of those categories, and I’m glad they’re finally starting to listen.”

:applause":
